 Quality Technician

 

Location-Covington, KY 41017
Shifts-1st and 2nd
Hours-430pm-230am
Pay-18.50 + .50 Shift Difference 

Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Technician shall perform specific duties as deemed necessary to provide a high quality and food safe product that meets and exceeds our customers overall expectations.
Job Responsibilities:

1.Follow, monitor and enforce all GMP / Food Safety, and PPE procedures per Taylor Farms requirements

2.Utilize proper PPE and follow OSHA guidelines

3.Daily GMP monitoring and checklist

4.Environmental swabs as specified in ATP sampling procedure

5.Perform product specification analysis based on customer specs and document according

6.Ensure that all products are produced to customer specification

7.Daily Non-Conforming Product review and complete Non-Conforming Holds

8.Inspect raw material in question

9.Report any open cooler doors and/or any open facility doors showing gaps of light immediately

10.Verify HACCP verification checks and Metal Detector verifications are being performed accurately and timely.

11.Maintain a clean and safe work area

12.Assist in controlling waste

13.Must meet all established standards

14.Must follow all company policies and procedures

15.Must meet attendance requirements per Taylor Farms as attendance is crucial to position

16.Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations per Taylor Farms requirements

17.Attendance is crucial to position

18.Other duties as assigned
