Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and other baked items, ensuring they meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with baking techniques, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including breads, cakes, pastries, and cookies.
  • Measure and mix ingredients following recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor the baking process and adjust temperatures and baking times as needed.
  • Decorate and finish baked goods to meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing products.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients.
  • Culinary certification or relevant education is a plus.
