Job Description
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the operation and function of the entire crew in the extrusion of TS Cutter process and ensuring that operations are performed as specified.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the production schedule is followed.
- Issue and transact materials on the job, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Weigh and measure product to ensure the quality of product and proper specifications are followed.
- Document the daily operations for crew.
- Ensure crew’s work area is clean and orderly.
- Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Perform functions in Oracle and Bellhawk.
- Perform other duties as required or requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Responsible for the operation and function of crew.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Requires leadership skills and must be able to act as a team player.
- Must have or be able to receive forklift license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work environment may consist of moving through manufacturing areas that may include exposure to noise, heat, smells, and chemicals.
- Work near moving mechanical parts 2/3 of the time.
- Exposure to fumes and airborne particles 2/3 of the time.
- Exposure to loud noise 2/3 of the time.
