Position Summary

This position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Security for assigned shift of the security department and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs security patrols
  • Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
  • Prepare reports that relate to internal investigations of any theft, company losses, or violations
  • Serving in partnership with Director of Security as company liaison for public law enforcement or fire department
  • Protects property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbally and in writing, with diverse ranges of people, including the proper handling of difficult or emotional situations
  • Ability to analyze and independently resolve difficult situations or problems
  • Ability to work long irregular hours under pressure
  • Ethical Conduct.
  • Teamwork Orientation
  • Minimum of two years’ experience
