HW Staffing’s client, a global leader in respiratory protection and survivability solutions, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Salem, NH. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive repair and maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, from basic hydraulic systems to complex CNC machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve both electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
  • Conduct proactive preventive maintenance activities on all production equipment according to established schedules.
  • Utilize the SAP maintenance module to accurately track all PM activities and generate work orders.
  • Perform facility-related maintenance tasks, including repairs, upgrades, painting, and general upkeep.
  • Assist with installations and modifications as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair is highly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a significant plus.
