DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate mixing apparatus to combine compound.
Operate hydraulic presses and tools to cure a wide variety of elastacast parts.
Trim and inspect product. Measure product dimensions.
Fill out production sheets and travelers.
Navigate through software and enter data on PC.
Maintain work area and keep equipment clean and orderly; understand and maintain all safety requirements within the department and Company.
Report any unusual conditions to supervisor.
Perform other duties as required or requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School graduate or equivalent; or 1 to 3 months in work related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must possess some mechanical abilities to properly use hand and power tools.
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work environment consist of manufacturing area which may have exposure to noise, heat, smells or chemicals.
Work near moving mechanical parts over 2/3 of the time.
Exposed to fumes or airborne particles up to 1/3 of the time.
Exposed to toxic or caustic chemical up to 1/3 of the time.
Exposed to loud noise over 2/3 of the time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School graduate or equivalent; or 1 to 3 months in work related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
