Quality Auditor

Responsible for process audits, incoming inspection, and product audits using measuring and test equipment, established work instructions, process documentation with minimal supervision. Report and/or investigate discrepancies identified during the audit function. Findings require notifying shift supervision in a real-time manner showing assertiveness in a respectful manner and elevating a level of awareness. Protocol for such will be established by Quality Management. Candidate must be capable of issuing reports on findings.


Perform process audits to defined schedules in accordance with established procedures and CTQs

Perform incoming inspection in accordance with existing SOPs as assigned by Quality Management

Perform QA lab testing in accordance with existing SOPs as assigned by Quality Management

Perform CQM testing on MasterCard EMV orders as assigned by Quality Management

Identify, retrieve and apply relative Industry Standards as applicable to the work assigned

Notify shift supervision of deficiencies in a real-time manner in accordance with established protocol

Operate various types of equipment including grinders, hand tools, counters and measuring instruments

Complete and maintain accurate detailed electronic and hard copy records of work performed

Assist with database maintenance and data analysis

Collect and review inspection reports completed during in-process checks by manufacturing operators for completeness and accuracy

Interact with fellow employees with minimal disruption

Data entry and record filing

Serve as a back-up to the Audit/Pack – Grinder role 

Support equipment testing, capability studies, calibration, 5S, lean initiatives and other job related duties as assigned by Quality Management. 



  • Able to make decisions using measuring equipment's, specifications internal standards and industry standards with minimum guidance
  • Read and write English at a proficient level
  • Basic math skills  
  • Visual acuity required, with or without corrective lenses
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Frequent standing
  • Computer skills: Excel & Word
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Quality or related field in a job shop environment
  • Obtain and maintain Banking/Financial clearance
  • Familiar with ANSI, SOP documentation ISO Standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, a plus
  • Experience with small hand gauges is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT clearance a plus
