Basic Job Duties:

  • Answer, screen, direct all incoming phone calls
  • Meet all applicants and hand out paperwork
  • Greet vendors, sales people, walk-in applicants and screen accordingly
  • Enter all candidate information into Staff Suite accurately
  • Reference Check all applicants
  • Copy, stamp and mail pay checks
  • Photo copy and collate application packets monitoring to keep supplied
  • Process and file all new-hire paperwork appropriately including background forms (if applicable), drug test letters, TWRK forms, I9 completion and e-verify  (once per week at minimum)
  • Update job postings as directed
  • Contact employees to check on availability (5/day and can be done via email)
  • Confirm all appointments via phone and/or email
  • Respond to employment verification requests, social service requests and unemployment forms as applicable
  • Prepare pay check inserts when needed
  • Open and distribute mail
  • At year end, box old employee files/back-ups and let manager know so they can be sent to corporate
  • Track and activate direct deposit forms
  • Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager 

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to handle multi-line phone (answered within 3 rings, no line kept holding for more than 20 seconds) professionally, taking messages and documenting in system as appropriate.
  • Accurate data entry skills and intermediate MS Word, Excel and Outlook Skills
  • This is an in-office, service-based position therefore attendance Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m is required
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs occasionally
