Job Summary
We’re looking for a Director of Quality who thrives on ensuring everything meets the highest possible standards — from products and processes to the way our teams collaborate. In this leadership role, you’ll set the vision for quality across the organization, lead continuous improvement efforts, and build a culture that never settles for “good enough.” You’ll work across departments, influencing everything from product development to compliance and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and senior staff across production departments to establish acceptable quality standards.
  • Partner with other leaders to develop new product and engineering designs, as well as manufacturing and training methods.
  • Create and maintain the product quality documentation system by writing and updating QA procedures.
  • Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
  • Facilitate communication among production divisions and management.
  • Assess test results and approve recommended changes.
  • Review quality control documentation (checklists, logs, and reports) for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Conduct random inspections and quality control checks.
  • Report on quality control and operations to executive leadership and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related industrial, scientific, or business field (required).
  • 8–10 years of related experience, with at least 5 years as a quality engineer or similar role (highly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
  • Experience leading audits and navigating regulatory requirements.
  • Data-savvy — able to analyze trends, generate reports, and turn insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
