Job Description

 

  • Manage and execute all month-end closing activities including journal entries, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support global capital budget including processing requests, consolidated reporting, and depreciation forecasts for QA/QC
  • Assist in the Annual Operating Plan & Monthly Forecasting process for areas supported.
  • Provide business support to QAQC and assist the operational managers in understanding their effectiveness through detailed monitoring of expenses and capital.
  • Foster business partnerships through the generation and presentation of monthly and quarterly reports that help the operational directors better understand their business.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis upon request.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related finance field of study.
  • 2-4 years related work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of month-end processing, journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ability to work closely in a fast-paced team environment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continual process improvement.
  • The position requires strong organizational skills, accountability, time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality output.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of starting and completing projects promptly.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills are a must.
  • Solid skill in Excel and data management are a must.
  • Experience with SAP/Analysis/BPC is an advantage.
  • Experience with accounting within R&D or Manufacturing environments a plus.
