Job Description

Well established manufacturer of HVAC has an immediate opening for a Janitorial Tech. This is a Monday thru Friday, 7am - 3:30 pm.  Ideal candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Ability to establish and follow work schedule
  • Maintains inventory and processes requisitions for cleaning supplies and paper products
  • Cleans production areas as needed
  •  Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe and orderly. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a Janitor
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Integrity and ability to work independently
  • High school degree
  • Successfully pass and criminal background investigation and a drug screen
