Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ability to read, observe, and follow standard operating procedures to correctly learn processes from subject matter experts

·         Demonstrate a customer service orientation at all times with both external and internal customers.

·         Represent company and the Supply Chain Team in a positive and professional manner at all times.

·         Gain a general understanding of the Oracle ERP system and the tasks related to the various supply chain functions.

·         Responsible for accurately keying alphanumeric strings of information (from various data sources) into the Oracle ERP system with minimal errors.  Ability to proofread and audit own work before considering it complete and passing along information

·         Support Supply Chain and other departments as needed.

·         Transmit order acknowledgments to internal customers in a timely manner (less than 24 hours; same day preferred).

·         Responsible for updating, proofing and distributing various reports and metrics on a regular basis according to methods demonstrated by Supply Chain Manager or other subject matter experts (i.e., forecasts, metrics, schedules, etc.).

·         Monitor and follow up on outstanding purchase orders (based upon delivery due dates) and assist Buyers/Manager in tracking performance of suppliers based upon pre-established criteria (Quality, Delivery and Cost).

·         Restocking the cafeteria with various supplies

·         Act as a facilities coordinator reporting all issues with pertaining to the facility to the landlord.

·         Under the direction of the Inventory Control Supervisor, perform a variety of tasks including cycle counts, receipts, transfers and work order releases

·         Enter purchase orders with existing or new suppliers into the Oracle ERP system; transmit a copy of purchase order to supplier via email; monitor as open while awaiting order acknowledgment from supplier.

·         Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of the position.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

·         High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; college degree or coursework highly desirable.

·         2 years of verifiable work experience in general manufacturing desired.

·         Excellent organizational skills – ability to logically create order where no system may exist; follow established organization schemes for both electronic and paper file/document retention and retrieval.

·         Ability to prioritize tasks with appropriate attention to deadlines and level of detail required for each task.

·         Work within a team – comfortable with sharing ideas for improvement.

·         Basic understanding of common computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer/Chrome) expected.

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to read, observe and follow standard operating procedures to correctly learn ATS processes from subject matter experts.

·         Ability to use hands and fingers for keying, sorting, writing, counting, and phone activities.

·         Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, occasionally lift and/or move, push, pull a maximum of 40 pounds.

·         Ability to work in various office, production and warehouse environments while meeting established goals and standards.

·         Must have effective communication skills (both oral and written), and be self-motivated.

·         Ability to accurately estimate time required to effectively complete tasks and prioritize requests appropriately.
