Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Pressroom: Follow policies and procedures regarding standard production methods, equipment, operating procedures Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy Perform basic preventative maintenance of the presses and molds Maintain a clean and safe work area Manufacture paper gaskets and clean/maintain paper gasket braiders Perform product inspection at source. Adhere to the pressroom Standard Work Instructions. Evaluate product for conformance to quality standards Report any production issues immediately to the supervisor Perform routine audit checks, such as cup weights, washer, water solids and foamer checks. Report safety and security issues quickly and appropriately Makes every effort to increase the productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. Washer/Dryer Area: Transport pillows from washer conveyor to dryer conveyor Straighten mattresses as they enter the dryer Check all conveyors to ensure they are functioning properly All Areas: Work with HMI (Human-Machines Interface Screens) around the facility to bring equipment into cycle Perform product inspection at source Notify lead operator and/or supervisor of any equipment deficiencies Perform various product and process checks Clean equipment at regularly scheduled intervals Other Duties- Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required for the employee.
