Job Title: QC Final Inspector – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Gardner, MA
Job Type: Full time – Temp to Hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QC Final Inspector to join our 1st shift team. The QC Final Inspector is responsible for ensuring that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications before shipping. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform final inspections on finished products to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection equipment.
  • Document inspection results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify, report, and segregate nonconforming products.
  • Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
  • Strong knowledge of basic measurement tools and inspection techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
