Job Description

Our client, a leading supplier of custom protective packaging, is hiring Wood Assemblers to work at their facility in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

 

The pay is $16.50 per hour, working 1st shift, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, with overtime required as needed.

 

The Wood Assembler is responsible for assembling shipping crates and pallets, using nail guns, hammers, drills, and other hand and power tools.  The Wood Assembler measures and cuts raw materials based on drawings and written instructions.  As a Wood Assembler, you will maintain a clean and safe work area and wear proper protective clothing such as steel-toe boots.

 

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts; blueprint experience is a plus 
  • Prior experience with hand and power tools 
  • Uses hands and fingers to operate hand and power tools
  • Uses vision to accurately assemble items and assess finished products 
  • Access to reliable transportation
