2nd Shift Supervisor
Location: Amherst, NH
Company Overview: Our client, a well respected and established manufacturer in the greater Nashua area, is in need of an experienced bi-lingual shift supervisor to oversee their 2nd shift.
 
Job Summary: As the 2nd Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and ensuring the smooth running of our light industrial production during the evening hours. You will lead a team of skilled machine operators and quality control specialists, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment to meet our production targets and maintain the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift production team, including machine operators and quality control personnel
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Communicate effectively with the broader organization to report on production progress and collaborate on process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production, quality, and team performance

Qualifications: 
  • 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a light industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical expertise in operating and troubleshooting production machinery
  • Proficiency in quality control procedures and the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and optimize production
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus
    This is a second shift opportunity, but requires training on first shift.
