Job Description

Job Objective: Coordinate and perform tasks related to shipping and receiving of materials in the Distribution Department in an accurate and efficient manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Essential Job Functions: 
Commitment to Safety 
o Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. 
o Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety. 
o Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process. 
o Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities. 
· Operate stock picker. 
· Operate TSP. 
· Operate Handheld RF (WMS). 
· Operate electric pallet jack. 
· Completes travelers. 
· Receives product in handheld. 
· Pick product using handheld rf in WMS. 
· Retrieve product from QC hold. 
· Ability to become Clamp truck certified. 
· Ability to become Sit-down fork truck certified. 
· Additional tasks as requested or assigned. 
· Full time presence required. 
· Ability to work well with others in a team environment 
· Full time presence required 
· Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested. 
· Excellent attendance required.
· Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends. 
· Additional tasks as assigned.


Job Qualifications: 
· High School Diploma or equivalent. 
· Ability to lift to 65lbs unassisted.
· Attention to detail. 
· Effective time management skills. 
· Effective verbal communication skills. 
· Positive attitude. 
Preferred: 
· Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules. 
· Fork truck experience and / or certification.
