- Diagnose and swiftly resolve issues for faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions. Perform minor machine repairs and adjustments as needed, proactively seeking assistance for complex challenges.
- Utilize your skills in machine shop practices (lathe, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welder, hand tools) to fabricate simple fixtures, parts, tools, and specialized support equipment from existing designs.
- Meticulously maintain all hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics, as well as critical support machinery such as air compressors and cooling towers.
- Perform simple electrical wiring on production equipment and support building utilities (120V – 480V three-phase and 120-volt single-phase). Handle normal plumbing and carpentry work as needed.
- Order necessary parts and tools with approval, and maintain a daily log of critical job activities for seamless shift transitions and management.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience performing maintenance tasks within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and analytical abilities.
- Experienced in multiple functions, including:
- Electrical diagnostics (120V-480V)
- Servo drives
- Carpentry and plumbing
- Fabrication and machine repair
- Basic proficiency in English (ability to understand and execute instructions) and familiarity with Windows Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
