Job Description

HW Staffing’s client is seeking a dedicated and reliable 3rd Shift Machine Operator to join our team in North Haven, CT. The Machine Operator will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of production machinery, ensuring the timely production of quality packaging products.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machines according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform machine setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance as needed.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand production orders and instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
