Job Objective: Ability to operate and be certified on a variety of tasks, including operating manufacturing equipment, following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards. Ability to perform varying assignments daily.
3rd Shift: 10:45pm - 6:45am
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to obtain certification in a minimum of HTH Operator level 1 within the time frame specified on each training checklist.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of extrusion machinery and plastics processes.
- Comply and understand all standard operating procedures, control plans, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain accuracy in production reporting, downtime, sampling, and data entry.
- Read and interpret the Discrete Job Routing Sheet and Repetitive(s).
- Complete necessary computer transactions or paperwork.
- Maintain established production standards.
- Accountable for personal goals and departmental metrics.
- Ability to successfully complete training and operate PIT’s.
- Ability to work overtime as required or requested, including extended shifts and weekends.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Full time presence required.
- Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends.
- Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read, comprehends, follows, and recommend improvements to working instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
