Job Summary:
As a 3rd Shift Quality Control professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent quality and compliance of our products during the overnight hours. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, testing, and documentation to uphold our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive inspections of finished products, components, and raw materials to identify any defects or non-conformances
- Conduct quality control testing and measurements to verify product specifications and tolerances
- Document all quality control activities, findings, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and production areas
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of quality control tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality control documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
This is a 3rd shift position, with work hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The work environment is a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse and production facility. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate the warehouse using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
