3rd shift Dock Auditor
Job Description
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for pressroom registration checks, first heat checks, incoming and outgoing coated product audit, quality verifications to ensure adherence to customer specifications and audit of end product going to customer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform acceptance testing as outlined in the standards.
- Find and interpret specifications using the ERP system.
- Perform tool PMR evaluations. Certify daily first heat curing.
- Perform incoming and outgoing coated product inspections.
- Perform visual inspection of O-Ring to ensure acceptable product is being warehoused; and maintain related files.
- Approve and document approval in company’s ERP system.
- Perform other duties as required or requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school Diploma or equivalent and 1-year related experience in quality assurance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic Math skills; familiar with gauges, measuring equipment and O-Ring OEM and OAM standards for physical properties and visual acceptance.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Gainseeker, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and barcode scanning preferred.
- Must have annual eye exam.
- Core Quality Skills (4/5 required): ERP system, OE Dock audit or OA Dock Audit, Incoming/Outgoing Coaters inspection, First heat and Registration checks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work environment consists of manufacturing environment which may have exposure to noise, heat, smells, and chemicals.
- Moderate noise level 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
- Loud noise level up to 1/3 of the time.
