Job Description

As an Amazon Returns Processor, you will be responsible for handling returned merchandise, ensuring proper processing, and maintaining warehouse organization. This role requires forklift experience for moving pallets, scanning returned items, and using basic computer systems for tracking inventory.

Job Requirements

 

  • Returns Processing: Inspect, verify, and sort returned items based on condition and return policies.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift or pallet jack to move returned merchandise and organize storage areas.
  • Scanning & Documentation: Use handheld scanners to track and log returned inventory in the system.
  • Basic Computer Tasks: Enter return details into Amazon’s warehouse management system and update product statuses.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that returned items are properly categorized, refurbished, or sent for disposal based on company guidelines.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the returns processing area.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment.
