Location: Rockland, Maine  
 
Hourly Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 (determined based on experience level)

Our client, Fisher Engineering, is seeking Assemblers / Packers to join their manufacturing team! In this role, you will be responsible for various bench and structural assembly tasks, as well as boxing and bagging operations for their snowplow and ice control product lines and accessories. You will work in both paced and non-paced environments, setting up and operating machinery and equipment such as assembly tools, packaging systems, powered conveyors, bagging machines, strapper machines, and a variety of hand and power tools. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Perform bench and structural assembly, boxing, and bagging operations
  • Operate various machines and tools including conveyors, bagging machines, and strapping tools
  • Maintain quality standards and follow work instructions
  • Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized (5-S practices)
  • Participation in team initiatives and training
  • Report any issues to team leaders or supervisors
  • Use material handling equipment safely
  • Assist in preventative maintenance and other assigned tasks
