Schedule: | 1st Shift 06:45AM - 03PM Monday to Friday with additional hours as needed 2nd Shift 02:45PM - 11PM Monday to Friday with additional hours as needed |
- Understand process flow and overall production requirements within the Assembly Area.
- Run reports, print “floor travelers” and acknowledge each item printed, separating product and completing spike card.
- Monitor all back orders and order pick as they become available. Rush Orders and Sample Orders are picked as requested.
- Coordinate training of new employees to the shift and train Assemblers on new jobs.
- Assign purchased product and RMA’s to the Assemblers as needed for repack.
- Assign tasks to the Assemblers giving them specific verbal and/or written direction to carry out their assigned task.
- Monitor Assemblers’ production work to ensure they are following safe practices and product meets job specifications.
- Provide a team environment through motivating workers to enhance production while maintaining quality.
- Ensure proper operation and setup of Assembly equipment, such as mounting pad machine, automated bagger, sealers, adhesive tape machines, electric stapler, etc.
- Print labels using the printers and inkjet printers to produce labels for Assembly and Production, as directed by the Assembly Manager, Foreman and/or Scheduler.
- Pick orders, as well as repack orders from FG using Assembly Schedule Report and stage in the Assembly Warehouse Area.
- Perform transactions in the inventory control system to remove product picked from finished goods, re-class the product by adding into the system as AR product.
- Maintain label design records and files as required, keeping the label printers and equipment in operable condition.
- Perform final inspection as needed by documented procedures, work instructions and specifications.
- Assist with the monthly inventory of labels, ribbons and ink and recommend and order supplies for the label design area.
- As needed, conduct inspection in the Assembly Area per documented procedures, work instructions, sampling plans and specifications and determine acceptability of the product based on the inspections.
- Adhere to ISO guidelines in all processes within Assembly Area, providing reports and updates as required to ensure quality products to our customers.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to understand and effectively communicate both verbally and written using basic English language.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and work independently.
- Able to perform fundamental math calculations, such as add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Must be able to regularly lift and stack materials up to 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Must be mechanically inclined to make minor adjustments to machinery.
- Ability to function within a team environment.
- Must have good vision, either with or without corrective lenses.
- Must have basic computer skills and experience with MS Office Suite and ERP software (IQMS preferred).
- Good finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform various inspections.
