Job Description

HW Staffing’s client is a leading innovator in data logging and monitoring solutions. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team in Bourne, MA. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling electronic components and sub-assemblies, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Perform soldering, wiring, and other assembly tasks as required.
  • Inspect and test assembled units to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and production output.
  • Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in materials or assemblies.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous assembly experience, particularly in electronics manufacturing, is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform soldering and wiring tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good vision and manual dexterity.
