Assembly Technician
Job Description
- Assemble and manufacture wire rope and chain slings
- Cut, splice, and swage fittings according to specifications
- Handle inventory and gather materials for production orders
- Accurately measure lengths using fractions and decimals
- Fill and prepare customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area
- Support shipping and receiving as needed
- Occasionally assist with basic customer questions or requests
- Follow established procedures to meet quality and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comfortable working with hands in an assembly or manufacturing setting
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to adapt to different tasks day-to-day
- Speaks and understands English
- Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
- Assembly or manufacturing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Dependable, hardworking, and punctual
- Organized and efficient with a strong work ethic
- Takes ownership of work and enjoys staying productive
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Safety-conscious and detail-driven
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
