Job Description
Location: Hebron, KY
- Driver Sign-In: Greet incoming taxi drivers and verify appropriate permits, licenses, and airport operating credentials.
- Queue Management: Direct and organize the taxi staging line, ensuring vehicles are dispatched to the passenger pick-up zones in a fair, orderly, and timely manner.
- Customer Assistance: Help arriving passengers with general directions, answer questions about taxi procedures, and direct them to the front of the taxi line.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of dispatched taxis, driver arrivals, and any notable incidents during your shift.
- Communication: Maintain clear radio or phone communication with airport security, terminal staff, and transit supervisors as needed.
- Environment Maintenance: Keep the dispatch booth and immediate surrounding area clean, safe, and organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors or in a semi-enclosed booth in various weather conditions.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform light physical duties.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays (ideal for per diem availability).
- Basic familiarity with local geography and airport terminal layouts is a plus.
