Box Builder Assembler – Contract / Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $19–$22/hr (DOE – flexibility for the right candidate)

Work Hours
1st Shift 7-3:30pm.
Position Purpose
The Box Builder Assembler is responsible for building crates, boxes, and protective packaging used to ship finished products. This role ensures all materials are assembled accurately, securely, and according to specifications to protect high-value components during transport. The position supports production and shipping operations within a manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assemble wooden crates, shipping boxes, and packaging structures using hand and power tools
  • Measure, cut, and fasten materials according to work instructions and specifications
  • Secure products within crates using foam, bracing, and protective materials
  • Verify materials and hardware prior to assembly
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work
  • Follow safety procedures when operating saws, nail guns, drills, and other equipment
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with production and shipping teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • 1–3 years of assembly, carpentry, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools (drills, nail guns, saws, etc.)
  • Ability to read tape measures and follow basic written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Dependable with strong work ethic and team mindset
