Burnisher
Job Description
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Additional Availability: Must be able to work Saturdays when needed
Pay: $22/hr
- Set up and operate a burnish cabinet, walk-in booth, room, or similar equipment
- Load and unload the burnish cabinet with glass bead or other required media
- Burnish parts coated with IVD Aluminum according to specific job requirements
- Visually inspect parts before, during, and after burnishing to ensure quality
- Assist with sandblasting and masking as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous burnishing or sandblasting experience preferred but not required
- Experience working with or removing heavy metals is a plus
- Physical stamina; ability to lift 20+ lbs depending on part type
- Familiarity with power tools
- Must be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Flexible schedule; must be able to work overtime, evenings, and weekends when required (advanced notice provided)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be COVID vaccinated
