Shape the future with your machining expertise! HW Staffing’s client a leading provider of precision machining, fabrication, and assembly services for over 50 years, seeks highly motivated CNC machinists to join our growing team in Westbrook, Maine.

Competitive pay: $24.00 per hour 

What you'll do:
  • Bring blueprints to life: Translate complex designs into precise machined parts using your CNC Mills and Lathes expertise.
  • Own your work: Set-up, operate, and maintain your assigned machines, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Problem-solving pro: Troubleshoot issues, adjust controls, and implement solutions to keep production running smoothly.
  • Team player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

We're looking for someone who:
  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent (technical college degree preferred).
  • Has 2+ years of experience in the machine tool trade (experience with horizontal milling machines a plus).
  • Understands blueprints, routers, and the proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on complex projects.
  • Has strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Maintains a safety-first mindset and adheres to established protocols.
