Job Title: CNC Operator

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm / M-F

Reports to: Production Manager

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery and be proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up machines, loading materials, and monitoring the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery according to specifications.
  • Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Adjust machine settings to control factors such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
  • Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work history.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Vocational or technical training in CNC machining a plus.
  • Certification in CNC operation or related field preferred.
