Cleanroom Laboratory Technician
 Rochester, NY
 $20.00 – $27.00/hour + Overtime Opportunities

What You’ll Do
  • Perform precision cleaning and cleanliness verification to industry standards (ASTM, ISO, IEST)
  • Conduct visual inspections using advanced lighting and microscopy techniques
  • Support cleanroom certification using specialized equipment (particle counters, anemometers, etc.)
  • Execute detailed cleaning processes including ultrasonic, pressure spray, steam, and UV methods
  • Work in a controlled cleanroom and analytical lab environment
  • Accurately document results and ensure compliance with strict technical standards
 Work Environment
  • State-of-the-art cleanroom and laboratory setting
  • Hands-on use of specialized tools and advanced equipment
  • Team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical field (mechanical, chemical, materials, or lab/testing)
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with cleanroom standards (ISO 14644, FED-STD-209)
  • Familiarity with organic solvents and precision cleaning methods
  • Experience using certification equipment (particle counters, anemometers, etc.)
  • Vacuum chamber experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (a plus
Education:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
