Job Description

Job Title: Coatings Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Coatings Technician to operate coating and paint equipment in a fast-paced production environment while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate vacuum coating machines and spray lines
  • Clean, adjust, and perform minor repairs on spray equipment
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Follow work instructions, processes, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in other departments as needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to identify issues and suggest improvements
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Experience with ISO/ITAR environments is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lift over 25 lbs)
  • Ability to stand for 7–8 hours
  • Ability to move materials and equipment throughout shift
