Job Description

Consumable Manufacturing Technician
 
The objective of the position is focused on all activities around consumable production spanning from raw material management to final packaging.  
  • Execute independently all routine operations around consumable production.
  • Perform manual assembly and/or operate semi-automatic equipment for the purpose of membrane plate production.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to accomplish production tasks while accurately recording processing steps in batch records and logs.
  • Initiate and complete updates of Manufacturing documentation as needed.
  • Prepare raw materials, maintain and organize inventory of materials needed for daily manufacturing operations.
  • Perform incoming inspections of materials as specified.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area as well as tools & equipment.
  • Work hand in hand with team members in Manufacturing and participate in other Manufacturing activities as needed.
Responsibilities 
  • 1 - 2 years experience in a Life Science Manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks according to goals and company needs
  • Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • No visa sponsorship available
