A South Nashua Defense Contractor is accepting applicants for a Contracts Administrative Assistant.
This position requires the ability to perform a variety of administrative functions within a contract organization. Responsibilities include: 1. Reviewing, monitoring and preparing necessary reports to assist Contract Administrators. 2. Verify proposal Costs and rates. Notify appropriate Administrators of any errors or inconsistencies within existing reports or new proposals. 3. Assist Administrators with meeting submission requirements and deadlines. 4. Coordinate and Maintain contract records within database. 5. Provide support to subcontractors. 6. Provides administrative support to include, but not limited to: making travel arrangements; preparing timely, proactive and accurate expense reporting and all required follow-up; furniture procurement & move requests; IT related requests/arrangements; dining requests; onsite and offsite meeting arrangements/planning (conference room/center reservations); new team member onboarding; document printing/reproduction; office supply requests. and other administrative duties, as required.
Excellent communication, organizational, telephone and interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi task and work independently. Have excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office. Good time management and detail oriented.
Prior administrative assistant or office manager experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires an Associates Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent (2) years of experience in a related area; or a high school education or the equivalent plus a minimum of six (6) years related experience.
