Counter Sales Representative

 Job Summary:
 As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our diverse clientele. In this temporary-to-hire role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and potentially transition to a permanent position within our growing organization.

 Key Responsibilities:
 - Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, processing transactions and providing product recommendations
 - Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, including specifications, features, and applications
 - Collaborate with the team to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and replenished
 - Support various store operations and administrative tasks as needed

 Qualifications:
 - Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a positive customer experience
 - Basic knowledge of plumbing fixtures, equipment, and materials
 - Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software

 Working Conditions:
 This position will be based at our regional supply center, which may involve some physical demands such as lifting and moving materials. The work environment is a retail or warehouse-like setting, with the potential for exposure to various weather conditions.

 Compensation and Benefits:
 This is a temporary-to-hire position with a target pay rate of $20-$25 per hour. Upon successful completion of the temporary period, the opportunity to transition to a permanent, full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package may be available.
