Customer Service Representative
Job Description
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and resolving routine issues; escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Serve as a product resource and provide education on company offerings.
- Document all customer interactions, including inquiries, issues, resolutions, and product information shared.
- Enter and manage customer orders in the system; respond to order-related questions.
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell products to dealers, including new products, discontinued item replacements, backorder releases, promotions, and closeouts.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's degree or additional relevant coursework
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to resolve routine customer service issues and escalate as necessary
- Comfortable and professional in email and phone-based customer interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to quickly learn internal software and systems
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
