Job Description

 The Production Associate assists in the manufacturing of doors and/or windows by reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, and written instructions.  As a Production Associate, you will select parts, then measure, shape, adjust, trim, and sand parts and joints using carpentry hand and power tools as needed to ensure that parts fit snugly. The Production Associate uses a wide variety of fasteners, adhesives, inserts, dowels, staples, etc., to fasten assemblies and install hardware. This is a Temp to hire role!

 

We are offering $23.50-$26.00, with openings on 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm and 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm, with Overtime after 40 hours. 

Job Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or 1-3 months of related work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

Wood working experience preferred

Excellent attention to detail and safety 

Moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds and performs team lifts on heavier items 

Use hands and vision to manipulate tools and parts 

Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, and written instructions 

Able to read a tape measure and perform common math calculations
