Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Pay Rate: $74.00 - $82.00 per hour
- Support electrical design teams in the development of new products and production test equipment.
- Develop and integrate high-technology solutions for low-power, battery-operated systems.
- Design electronic modules, including rigid and flexible PCBAs and associated interconnects.
- Apply electrical/electronic analog and digital circuit design expertise, including:
- Power supply and power conversion circuits
- Sensor circuits, ADC/DAC, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
- Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and apply best design practices.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, design analysis, modeling, simulation, and timing analysis.
- Develop detailed design documentation and perform hands-on testing using lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Collaborate with PCB designers to ensure low-noise, high-reliability designs.
- Troubleshoot, resolve technical issues, and support root cause and corrective action (RCCA) efforts.
- Support the transition of new designs to production and sustain engineering for qualified products.
- Develop manufacturing work instructions and process documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders (ECOs) as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing electrical hardware in the defense, aerospace, or medical industries.
- Proficiency in ECAD/CAE tools:
- Siemens Cadence OrCAD Capture CIS, Allegro
- PSPICE circuit simulation
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SOPs, process control, and standardization of work output.
- Experience with design for manufacturing, MIL-STD environments, and harsh operational conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
- Must be able to work onsite full-time in Londonderry, NH.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
- Experience with Agile PLM or similar product lifecycle management tools.
- Background in developing manufacturing work instructions.
- Knowledge of electro-optical applications and EMI/EMC testing practices.
- Primarily office/cubicle-based with time spent on the production floor.
- Fast-paced, hands-on support of new product introduction and evaluation.
