How You'll Make an Impact (Responsibilities):
  • Perform precise assembly, wiring, and soldering of electronic components, subassemblies, and final products following schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Conduct electrical tests, diagnose issues, and perform troubleshooting on circuits, components, and systems using various test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
  • Assist engineers in the prototyping and development of new electrical designs, including building test fixtures and conducting initial performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate test logs, data records, and documentation of all work performed, adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
  • Execute rework and repair of electrical assemblies, ensuring high quality and functionality.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technician with hands-on experience and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent military training/experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician in a manufacturing or R&D environment, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a similarly complex industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in soldering (SMT and through-hole) and fine pitch component handling.
    • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
    • Hands-on experience with various electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, power supplies).
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical circuits and identifying component failures.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and close attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
