- Perform precise assembly, wiring, and soldering of electronic components, subassemblies, and final products following schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Conduct electrical tests, diagnose issues, and perform troubleshooting on circuits, components, and systems using various test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
- Assist engineers in the prototyping and development of new electrical designs, including building test fixtures and conducting initial performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate test logs, data records, and documentation of all work performed, adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
- Execute rework and repair of electrical assemblies, ensuring high quality and functionality.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent military training/experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician in a manufacturing or R&D environment, preferably in aerospace, defense, or a similarly complex industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in soldering (SMT and through-hole) and fine pitch component handling.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Hands-on experience with various electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, power supplies).
- Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical circuits and identifying component failures.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
