Job Description

The Electronics Technician is responsible for the assembly of Electrical Control Panels per customer orders.  As an Electronics Technician, the majority of your time will be spent wiring panels. The Electronics Technician also installs and wires devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, and transmitters.  In addition, the Electronics Technician will maintain necessary U.L. and other quality control files, as well as layout of components in various size cabinets. You may also mentor junior members of the team and assume the lead role on customer projects.

 

We are offering $18.00-$24.00 per hour, operating on 1st shift.  Flexible schedule, work any 8-hour shift between 4:00am and 6:00pm (4 to 12, 9 to 5, 10 to 6, etc.).

 

Job Requirements

Your skills and abilities:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired
  • 3+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Must have experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panels
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
