- Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities for facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related infrastructure.
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee internal staff and external contractors for repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance projects.
- Monitor building systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prompt resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify hazards, maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, work orders, and inventory.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Manage the facilities budget, track expenditures, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Respond to facilities-related emergencies and incidents as required.
- Collaborate with Production, EHS, and other departments to support operational goals and facility-related projects.
- Train, mentor, and supervise facilities staff, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and supervising teams.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
