Job Description

Join our team as a Fill Operator, where you'll play a vital role in our production process. The Fill Operator receives prepared product from cook/mixers and operates equipment to pack and label the product, ensuring the integrity of our goods throughout the packaging process.

-Maintain accurate records of batch cards and any related documentation to support the packing proces

-Collaborate with fellow line operators, line workers, and agency personnel to smoothly operate packaging equipment, from loading empty containers to palletizing filled ones.

-Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized, performing routine clean-ups, and conducting line checks as per quality control standards.

-Ensure the quality of the packing process by maintaining appropriate fill levels, specified weights, proper capping, shrink banding, labeling, and container cleanliness.

-Record quantities of packed product and ensure the accuracy of blocking patterns on pallets

-Maintain the throughput of the packing line to meet targeted production standards.

-Communicate equipment issues to maintenance personnel promptly and collaborate to ensure smooth equipment operation.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate packaging equipment and maintain accurate documentation. Math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Comfortable standing, stretching, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
