Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Self-motivated Print Press Operator needed in our Printing Department.  Candidate will run a narrow web flexographic print press to produce various label stock and pressure sensitive labels. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup & run printing press each shift ensuring consistent color match for all material produced.
  • Monitor process to ensure product meets quality requirements
  • Perform cleaning and minor press maintenance as required
  • Changeover press by replacing rolls, plates and other devices
  • Clean rolls, plates and other devices and put away
  • Move full and empty pallets using a pallet jack.
  • Convert raw materials into required label stock for production orders
  • Maintain good housekeeping at all times

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in narrow web printing using water based inks a plus  
  • Ability to read and write English; Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Able to stand  for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
