Job Description

FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Wed- Sat
Overnight 12-hour shift
6pm-6am
$22.00 hourly
 
    • Follows all safety procedures
    • Performs safety forklift checklist daily
    • Keeps equipment clean and in good repair
    • Aware of surroundings / situational awareness to create safe work environments
    • Uses BOL scanner hardware / software
    • Ensure bundles meet packaging requirements (nails, board spacing, label location, etc.)
    • Maintains clean and organized weight scale areas

    • Assists Product Lead in posting work orders
    • Use the computer to print bundle labels
    • Check status of work orders
    • Rejects badly wrapped bundles Identify and rejects badly wrapped bundles, scrap bundles and help retrain PI
    • Input scrap into system
    • Performs all required paperwork
    • Performs bundle sign-off
 
This job operates inside/outside in a factory setting. This role routinely uses scanners, computers, and printers. Requires
walking and forklift operation in the production and yard daily, during all types of weather conditions. Will require wearing
Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses and/or ear protectors.
