Job Description

We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to work at a facility in Calverton, New York.  

We are offering $20.00 per hour, working 4:00am-4:30pm, with overtime available. Employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefit plans after 60 days of employment. 

Requirements: 
  • Must have prior forklift experience; certification highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to safety; steel-toe boots required 
  • Uses hands and eyes to operate and assess performance of equipment  
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment  
 
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading products and storage containers from trucks using a sit-down or stand-up forklift or other equipment. The Forklift Operator will perform preventative maintenance checks on propane-powered forklifts and pallet jacks.  The Forklift Operator will also assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment, inside and out, for their assigned storage center location.
