Forklift Operator
Location: Calverton, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
HW Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a growing team in Calverton, NY. This position is responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize products throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and preventing damage.
  • Move raw materials and finished goods to designated storage or production locations.
  • Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, and general warehouse activities.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and production teams as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous forklift operating experience is required.
  • Ability to safely maneuver materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
