Material Handler (1st Shift)
Location: Granite Quarry, NC
 Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent
 Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4 Days / 10-Hour Shifts)
 Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
 Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Granite Quarry, NC. You will manage inventory flow and operate machinery. This role offers a three-day weekend every week and a clear path to permanent hiring based on performance and attendance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Forklifts: Move heavy loads safely using sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
  • Load and Unload: Feed production lines and empty inbound freight trucks.
  • Inventory Control: Scan barcodes and log material locations into the system.
  • Staging: Organize products on pallets for efficient shipping and storage.
  • Safety Compliance: Inspect equipment daily and maintain clean walkways.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of strong, continuous forklift operation.
  • Certification: Valid forklift license or ability to pass internal testing.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Schedule: Must commit to the full 10-hour Monday through Thursday schedule.
