Job Description

HW Staffing is hiring a Freight Supervisor in Mapleville, RI, to work for a leading supplier of gourmet food products.

 

As a Freight Supervisor, you are responsible for material and intercompany scheduling and coordination for maximal efficiency and 0%-line downtime. Assist in identifying relevant and actionable KPIs and lead indicators of the area and team performance and own the collection and reporting methods. In addition, you will proactively seeks new opportunities and challenges; takes ownership and accountability for enhancing results or minimizing problems

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 1+ years’ experience in an inventory-oriented role in a manufacturing environment, analyst or planner role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Familiarity with inventory control best practices and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
